In November 2009, CBI held the Inaugural Forum on Pre-Approval Expanded Access Programmes. Designed to provide the bio/pharmaceutical industry with a better understanding of Expanded Access, Named Patient and Compassionate Use Programmes, the conference attracted more than 60 delegates.
Although educational and thought-provoking for many attendees, the program has been redesigned in 2010 to attract and appeal to a larger and more experienced delegation.
One of the major changes to the program is the layout. In 2010,CBI intend to break the agenda down based on the stages in a product’s lifecycle when expanded access typically occurs. Starting with Pre-Registration, the agenda transitions to Early Registration and then to the End of a Product’s Life.
Supported by in-depth case studies, this new format promises a logical, organized and comprehensive agenda.
